The mG-T series point-of-sale (POS) scales offer three large-sized NTEP and Measurement Canada-certified scales measuring weight with Class III accuracy. The mG-T series is effortless to set up, connecting to your POS system via Bluetooth, serial, or USB-C connectivity (mG-TUDB models only), integrating easily with Star SDKs. In order to be used for business in North America, scales must be NTEP (US) or Measurement Canada Certified. All of Star’s mG-T series of POS scales are certified by both, with Class III accuracy, meaning they are precise and legal for trade in the United States and Canada.
Each POS scale in the mG-T series has a platter measuring 13.5”x 10.4” (WxL), large enough to weigh any common bulk items. With a stainless-steel finish and easy-to-use interface, these scales are incredibly simple to install and operate, making the entire transaction a quicker and smoother process. While retailers such as yogurt shops and candy stores can measure the items they sell, grocers, butchers, and farmer’s markets can weigh much heavier items.
All Star Micronics mG-T series POS scales feature Bluetooth/BLE and serial connectivity, as well as support for Windows, Android, and iOS. Additionally, the mG-TUDB models offer USB-C connectivity. All scales are incredibly easy to integrate and set up, getting you quickly back to work.
