The SM-S230i portable Bluetooth receipt printer is the ideal mobile printing solution for the hospitality and retail industries. Equipped with a sleek, compact and lightweight design and is compatible with all operating systems including iOS (iPad®, iPhone®, iPod®) and all Bluetooth devices, the SM-S230i can be easily fastened on a belt for mobile point of sale and payment processing applications like tableside ordering and line busting.
In addition to easy “Drop-In & Print” paper loading and print speed of 80mm per second, the SM-S230i features an LCD display and a convenient automatic sleep mode for extended battery life. SM-S230i includes the ability to print receipts or data from a web browser-based application running on a mobile device wirelessly by configuring Star’s WebPRNT Browser. Once configured, the user simply pairs their mobile device to the SM-S230i, open the application on WebPRNT Browser and prints from the application. The SM-S230i is Star’s first receipt printer to be certified by Apple Inc. for all iOS devices including: iPad®, iPhone®, iPod®.
The SM-S230i is a part of the Star Micronics portable printer family, featuring a variety of 2”, 3”, and 4” printers that are compatible with Android and iOS devices, and are available with magnetic stripe readers and more. Each portable printer can be made complete with a wide range of accessories, including belt clips, shoulder straps, battery chargers and more.
